For over 18 years, the Kansas City Jazz Orchestra has delighted audiences with stellar big band Jazz performances, lively dances at Union Station, and valuable training programs for music students led by some of today’s greatest jazz musicians.
However, the Kansas City Jazz Orchestra has not been immune to the effects of the pandemic. Postponements and capacity limits will cause KCJO to lose more than 2/3 of the usual ticket income this year.
To continue that same excellence and momentum during a time when the arts are so desperately needed, we must raise $15,000 before December 31.
Fortunately, the Herman Family Foundation has committed to supporting KCJO with a challenge grant of $5,000. That means we must raise the remaining $10,000 before December 31. Can we count on your support to help us meet this challenge?
